Our go-to toddler toys for language development

Let’s talk toys for your toddler!

Although you can incorporate language learning in any aspect of your child’s day WITHOUT toys, most caregivers and parents enjoy purchasing toys for their children to have around their home.

The toys we use daily in working with young toddlers to encourage language development are those that include early concepts like farm animals/sounds, cause + effect, early actions, and food! While we use basic, familiar vocabulary to start, many of these toys can be used to encourage language expansion and even teach later developing concepts such as color, size, and quantity!
